Sins of My Father in New York City - Friday July 30th

Sins of My Father, a documentary directed by my good friend Nicolas Entel, is an incredible piece that gives the audience the inside look into the life of the son of Pablo Escobar, the most powerful drug lord in Colombia's history.

When Nicola's Directors of Photography, Mariano Monti and Patricio Suarez, were not available for one of the trips to Colombia, Nicolas asked me to join them to DP that little segment. Not only was I honored to work with Entel, I was really excited to have the kind of exposure to this incredible people through Nico's work. Although, most of my footage didn't make it to the final cut (I shot only 10 hours of footage, from 100s they shot total), this movie is very close to me, emotionally, for the subject matter and the fact that was made by a friend, and I was of good help!

The documentary has quickly gain the respects from critics and audiences all over the world, and it's playing this Friday July 30th in New York City in the New York Latino Film Festival at the Clearview Cinema Chelsea (260 west 23rd st) at 7:30 pm

Let me know what you think!
